Brashears & Newendorp is a comprehensive insurance agency offering a synchronized approach to risk management. Our multidisciplinary insurance plans contain customized solutions for a variety of industries and client needs, including extensive business, home, employment, building, auto, aviation, and marine insurance. Unlike typical insurance agents, we act as advisors, addressing the big-picture goals of our client’s risk management needs. Our agency has access to numerous A-rated carriers, which better enables us to meet the individual needs of our clients. This allows our clients to stay with us even as their insurance needs evolve or change over time.
Beyond finding our clients the insurance solutions they need, we are also involved every step of the way when claims do occur. We pride ourselves on being accessible and responsive, all while providing a high level of quality service. At the end of the day, we are here to provide peace of mind and coverage for catastrophic losses.
We are also excited to announce that we recently acquired three additional insurance companies: Douglas Maritime, Kudlich Aviation, and Ocean Marine Insurance. As a result of this acquisition, all clients of these companies will now be serviced by Brashears & Newendorp under the same name. How We Began
Founded by Mike Brashears and Ken Newendorp nearly 12 years ago, Brashears & Newendorp has expanded to 17 employees, with offices in Santa Barbara, Honolulu, and Newport Beach. With decades of experience providing insurance services in Santa Barbara and surrounding areas, Brashears & Newendorp is one of the leading independent insurance agencies in the Tri-Counties. Being in business for several decades has allowed our agency to develop and maintain strong relationships with top insurance companies, which ultimately allows us to have more options to provide to our clients.
